4. It would be the Kimberley City Bakery, which made bread back in the early 20's. the Mark Creek Market Bakery, which was known as Modern Bakery, opened its doors January 22, 1968. The store was then Super Value, it was 45 years ago.

7. The Royal Bank of Canada landed in Kimberley January 3, 1956, at the corner of Spokane and Wallinger where Our Place is now. It was 57 years ago.

8. The revolving IIIItne was owned Florence and John Clark. The home was a double wide mobile home, that sat on eight tires that rotated on a cement foundation. The scenery on full circle would be complete in ten minutes. The switch to start was at the dinner table. The house even hit a car once, when somebody parked too close. Yes, the house hit a car, not a car hit the house.
