Knighthawk started around the summer of 1980, and lasted about a year.

The original members were:

Bass - Earl Banman
Drums - Cam Zemp
Guitar - Wayne Kotush, Gary Malone

After a few months, Bob Cavallin replaced Cam Zemp on drums.
A while after that Brent Fisher became the lead vocalist.
